"Food is nice! But funny is need to pay first once food are served. A bit weird when eating halfway with mouthful and approach by the staff for to make payment."

"We got attracted by their menu and it wasn’t just words on papers… the food was really good and tasty. Quite surprise to find this kind of Japanese restaurant around the corner. The sushi’s were nicely made up and the rice cooked and seasoned to taste. We also ordered the chicken Katsu, a well known Japanese dishe but nice and crispy with some sweet potatoes in sauce to accompany the meet. I got myself charcoal noodles with grilled chicken, soft egg and seaweed. The broth was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend stopping by if you are around Batu Ferringhi. You will not be disappointed!"

"We went there in the evening. It was really nice. It started raining so we’re glad we were indoors. They had to close the outdoor dining, but it is on the beach when it’s a nicer night and we have the chicken teriyaki and it was really good but it’s mostly for like seafood and sushi."

"A really nice Japanese menu, with food that was well prepared and beautifully presented. There are tables both inside and on the beach. The food overall tasted great, although we found the small shrimp to be very salty. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were excellent. We visited at sunset, and it was very busy with diners as well as people stopping to take photos of the sunset. We were also entertained by a fire show from the bar next door, which was great fun."

"First of all, service was impeccable. Since the dinner was at the beach, a fly unfortunately fell into my cocktail, but the waiter was so understanding and offered to replace it, and brought mosquito and fly repellent. Next, the food was delicious. Highly recommend the kurimu spaghetti & tomyum soup - seafood was generous and super tasty in general. Cocktails were on the lighter side. The ambience was great with a beautiful view of Ferringhi beach. Will be back the next time we're in Penang! Thank you Natsu Bar & Dining for the amazing hospitality."
